A couple of weeks ago I was invited to the event Disaronno Di Moda presenting Margarita Alvarez's new collection "Tropical Struggle" at the Eternal Lobby Lounge at The Condado Plaza Hilton. I had an amazing time tasting delicious Disaronno cocktails and seeing all the beautiful pieces by the designer, which you can appreciate above. My favorite one is definitely the dress with the embroidered black and gold flowers with the leaves hanging loosely at the bottom. Alvarez's choice of fabrics was by far made with amazing taste, and so were the accessories by No Tire Reuse, a one of a kind brand that utilizes rescued truck tire inner tubes as the material for hand made creative purses and other art pieces. As for my outfit for the event, I wore a red playsuit with lace details from Marshall's along with Charlotte Russe lace up shoes and Wet Seal animal print satchel. Now that we are in the holiday season wearing lots of red seemed proper by now. I hope you like what you see here as much as I did. I'm so proud to be able to support more local designers through Sequin Vision, and I can't wait for the next opportunity to do so.

I'm back from celebrating not just Thanksgiving, but also my birthday, and many other occasions so without further delay here I give you the look for the latest fashion event I attended. I was invited as a guest to Imagen Runway Trends at Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, a yearly event presented by Imagen Nuestra Revista, a Puerto Rican magazine, in which the best local models, boutiques, and designers get together to show the most popular trend of the season. This year's theme was the 60's and it was presented exquisitely with bold geometric prints and simple silhouettes like the classic shift dress. There were also a few cocktail and evening dresses that I was obsessed with because: SEQUINS! The cocktail before the show was another part of the event I enjoyed with promotions by Avon and Cointreau as you can see in the pictures below. To see more pictures of the show you can check out Imagen's blog. I hope you enjoy them and get inspired as much as I did until the next look and event! |
