Here is dress #2 : a little black dress with a a few twists like a Wednesday Adams looking collar and a scalloped hem. I wore this to Texi's office Christmas party, originally with black pumps, but for the day I spent with my cousins in Old San Juan taking these pictures I decided to change it up in a comfy way wearing it with my Nike Free sneakers. As you can see below we had a lot fun pouting and posing with attitude, which I have to admit my cousins are pretty good at too. Sometimes people forget to have fun with fashion and its probably because they are not being themselves and worrying too much about what others think. I believe no one can ever express personal style that way and I hope this post helps others realize that. As always, I'm thankful for my photographers/friends/cousins and for all the readers out there. Enjoy!

The first look of the holiday dress season was this: a grey sweatshirt dress with rhinestone details from Ann Taylor Loft with a pair of sequined old navy flats. To match the color of the rhinestones on the dress and make the look more vampy I used my Urban Decay lipstick called Shame. I wore this to an "encendido" which is a party to welcome the holiday season where we help decorate the Christmas tree and, of course, eat like all true Puerto Ricans do. The pictures you see here were actually taken much, much later with the help of my cousins Mercedes and Rose. We dedicated a whole day of hanging out in Old San Juan and have a photo shoot of the dresses I wore in all the holiday parties, and I really appreciate all they did to make these turn out so awesome. These were specifically taken at La Factoria, a really trendy bar where the cocktails are prepared by bearded and tattooed hipsters and the atmosphere is that of a worn down speakeasy, perfect for the look too right? I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I have and expect more to come. Here is one of many looks for what I would have to call my dress season. I still owe you all the other dresses I wore for the Holidays so expect to see those soon. The one you see here is from Ann Taylor, which I paired in a very matchy-matchy way with navy Aldo pumps and the Kate Spade purse I will never get tired of. I wore this to a San Juan Moda event sponsored by Lincoln last Thursday, January 29. The night truly was all about fashion and luxury with the transformation of a car dealer into a very chic lounge with a DJ, creative bartenders, delicious entrees, and a presentation of the designers participating in the main event from March 14th to the 21st. Jaer Cabán, Luis Antonio, Eclíptica, José Raúl, Lisa Thon, Sonia Rivera, Miriam Budet, Of Atelier, Carlos Alberto, and Harry Robles were among the ones who showed a preview of their collections here and I must say I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest.
