What an incredible show it was. In fact it felt like more than that. I don't know if there are any words to describe it, but I'll try. I went with my closest friend dressed like you see above, which is an outfit mostly by Hot Topic and the makeup was me with a litlle help of a YouTube tutorial. Of course, there were many little monsters all dressed up too. Even though it was on hallow's eve like Mother Monster said we were "all dressed as ourselves". Besides the spectacular moving castle, the electronic unicorn, the motorcycle/gaga/ piano, the outfits, the dancers, what made the show so special was the connection Gaga always makes with her fans, that makes them feel like her children, like her little monsters. The way she talks or even preaches elevates the spirit of each little monster, to the point that no matter what that person is going through, he or she feels loved, feels comfortable, and most of all feels love for oneself. I did not want it to end, even though my feet, back and arms were killing me ( the high platform boots were a must in arena, I was able to see sooo much better) There was another concert tonight, Halloween or Gagaween as the little monsters call it, and I wish with all my heart I could attend it, but at least she promised to come back for the next tour. Here are more pictures and videos from the best night of my life so far :)

Here's my latest look, which was mostly inspired by my wanting to be comfortable and casual for a day of university and work at the boutique. Also I had just bought the top the day before at American Eagle Outfitters on sale ;) and the day before that I had bought the flats at Charlotte Russe with my employee discount :D so automatically I wanted to wear them as soon as I got the chance. With the orange flats and white top the look just started coming together: white loose top + ripped jeans, which i like to brag that they are from Kmart, = casual and comfy then add orange accessories and a cute bun and it's complete. One of the accessories is a vintage locket necklace given to me by my grandmother, but not the same who gave me the big bag of clothes. This grandmother is from my father's side and she always gives me great jewelry and I am so thankful for that. Like her I have an eye for detail and even though this is the smallest piece of the look it definitely completed it. I almost forgot to mention the bracelet I'm wearing is actually another necklace the same grandmother gave me. Thanks again Mamia! (that's the nickname my family gives her)
A lot is DEFINITELY New! I know it's been a while since I've posted, but you may notice I am a bit of a perfectionist and I don't like posting without a nice look to show. Here is the latest look I was able to take a nice picture of thanks to the Nikon D40 I bought. It took me a while to start taking actual pictures and finding ones that i wanted to post. There is still a lot I need to learn about this, it is my first time with a semi pro camera. All the other cameras I've ever had did not last :S the first one was an Olympus, the best one I ever had and it was stolen, then I got a Nikon Coolpix that got the lens damaged, was sent back to the factory to get fixed and after a while got the same problem. Finally my boyfriend gave me an Olympus tough which was waterproof but got wet inside because I accidentally opened the lock :/ Hopefully I won't have the same luck with this one. What else is new, well... I got a free iPhone 4s which I was soo ready to buy, but one just happened to fall on my hands almost literally while I was at the Oktoberfest. So besides the beer and friends I had a good time thanks to that as well. Another thing that is new is that I started a new job at Charlotte Russe in the mall near my house, today I actually used my employee discount :D so get ready for more looks.
The one you see here is a dress I bought in a boutique I happened to find on my way to a flash mob ( yes I said flash mob). It's called e-boutiqué and I also bought a very nice blouse from a clothing line Mustard Seed that is actually in my second post. The dress is from Double Zero and the booties from zooshoo.com. Its always fun to discover new places to shop whether it's on the web or on the street your walking by. So I finish my dinner ready to make my power point presentation for public speaking and out pops from the tv "next: The Devil Wears Prada". Obviously I am not moving anywhere, I just can't get enough of this movie. So on with multitasking. I hope I don't accidentally write something like "can u spell Gabbana?" haha love it! Next I have to choose what to wear for the presentation tomorrow and not only that, but also for a job interview! So excited :D
I needed to post a picture of this: its the bag I filled with the vintage clothes I took from my grandmother's closet. I swear it looks much bigger in person. I still can't believe how much I found and how much there is still left. I promised my grandma that even If I didn't get to take them all home and wear them someday I would open a vintage shop and sell them (a very big dream of mine: having my own business) I am so excited, I can't wait to wear everything :D
I know it's been a few days since I've posted, but I am just so picky especially since I still don't have my own camera (at least not one that isn't in my iPad or iPhone) But soon I will and I am so anxious! Meanwhile I was also desperate to take a picture of my first look out of the vintage collection I just received from my very own grandmother's closet or should I say treasure trove! There are so many more to come. Enjoy! (oh and please hype on lookbook.nu)
